WoW players can unlock a variety of new recipes, one of which is the Dismantle Enchant, by completing a long quest chain in Gnomeregan
Blizzard recently announced that phase 2 of the latest season of World of Warcraft is in effect and it introduced diverse new features that you can enjoy. Players can now acquire a new weapon Enchant known as Dismantle.
This weapon Enchantment permanently alters a weapon to cause all spells and attacks to deal between 60 and 90 additional damage when you are fighting mechanical creatures.
You can therefore equip the Dismantle Enchant to your character’s weapon to deal additional damage to mechanical foes.
It is worth noting that players will only receive the additional damage occasionally, which means that the Dismantle Enchant does not increase your damage permanently.
Similarly to other Enchants in WoW, you need to acquire the Dismantle formula before you can use it.
The only vendor that sells the Dismantle formula is Ziri “The Wrench” Littlesprout, who is in Gnomeregan.
Players therefore have to travel to Gnomeregan in order to purchase it, but if you are below level 45, you will not be able to purchase the formula.
Before you can purchase the Formula, you will have to complete a quest chain, which requires that you repair the Corroded G-7 C.O.R.E. Processor. Allegedly, you can pick up the quest from the Gnomeregan Raid.

Prerequisites
As previously mentioned, you have to be at least level 45 to purchase the Dismantle Formula from Ziri.
However, your Enchanting skill also has to be level 200 in order to learn the formula and construct the Enchantment.
Players also have to procure 4 Lesser Nether Essence, 2 Large Fangs and 2 Small Radiant Shards. Nether Essence drops from bosses, while you can acquire Large Fangs from beasts in Outland.
The Small Radiant Shards can be acquired by vanquishing bosses and trash mobs in SoD raids and dungeons.
Epic Crafting
The Epic Crafting in SoD Phase 2 allows you to unlock new recipes by completing a long quest chain, which commences in the Gnomeregan raid.
To complete this quest chain, gamers should follow these steps:
- Obtain Grime-Encrusted Salvage by defeating mobs and bosses in Gnomeregan.
- Players must turn the Grime-Encrusted Salvage in at the Salvagematic 9000, which can be found next to Ziri.
- You have to talk to Ziri to obtain the Salvaging the Salvagematic quest.
- Players have to collect 10 Mithril Bars, 5 Greater Mystic Essence, 4 GG12-082 Cartridge Fuses and a Pristine G-7 C.O.R.E Processor.
- You have to talk to Ziri to turn in the quest and get access to the new recipes.
Dismantle Enchant changes
On the official WoW Forums, a player named Hyperactive revealed that this enchant generally did between 20 and 50 damage per second, however, after the recent update, it only does between 1.5 and 2 damage per second during the raid.
Another WoW player mentioned that the proc rate is extremely low and only procs 2 to 3 times a fight. Several players hope that Blizzard is aware of this issue and that it will be fixed in the near future.
If you find that your Dismantle Enchant does not proc as it was designed, we recommend that you submit a ticket to notify Blizzard of this issue.
