The I Smell Trouble quest line will challenge you to track down various clues within WoW’s 2024 Love is in the Air event.
The Love is in the Air 2024 Event officially started on February 5, 2024 (and will continue until the February 19, 2024).
This love-inspired event has received a considerable upgrade this year, and features a ton of new quests, activities, achievements and rewards. It also includes a brand-new yearly quest line called ‘I Smell Trouble’.
What is the I Smell Trouble quest?
The 2024 Love is in the Air Event has certainly increased in scale this year, and in order to reap all the rewards that you possibly can from this limited-time experience, you will need to ensure that you complete the I Smell Trouble quest.
Once you have entered the Gala of Gifts (located just outside of Stormwind or Orgrimmar), where this year’s Love is in the Air Event is based, you will run into Inspector Snip Snagglebolt (Alliance) or Detective Snap Snagglebolt (Hoarde), who will ask you to help investigate a strange smell.
You will be tasked with sniffing out various clues, in order to figure out what the Crown Chemical Co. has been up to.
How to complete the I Smell Trouble quest
WoW‘s I Smell Trouble quest line begins and ends with Inspector Snip Snagglebolt or Detective Snap Snagglebolt.
Once you have received your instructions, you will need to use O.D.I.E.’s Remote Control to find the hidden clues all around Stormwind and Orgrimmar.
O.D.I.E.’s Remote Control will help you to spot various hidden items which have a suspicious white glow around them, including A Formula for Intoxicating Toxic Perfume, A Memo from Apothecary Hummel and a Map of Shadowfang Keep Security.
These items will act as clues in your investigation. After you have found all these clues, you will be able to hand in the quest and you will be rewarded with 15 Love Tokens (plus 55 silver and 200 experience points), for your efforts.
